Together, we can open doors for local students by removing financial barriers that prevent them from participating in extracurricular and enrichment activities.
About the Program
The Children's Enrichment Fund provides financial assistance to qualifying families, up to $300 per child each year, for Charlotte County youth to participate in activities that promote growth, connection, and confidence—such as sports, music, arts, 4-H, and more.
This initiative, established by the Leadership Charlotte Class of 2025 and powered by community partners, ensures every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Partner Expectations
• Complete the Partner Form
• Submit a W-9 to ensure proper financial processing
• Communicate with UWCC regarding scheduling, availability, or any issues that may affect a child’s participation
• Allow UWCC to follow up throughout the program to confirm attendance and engagement
• Notify UWCC if a scholarship recipient is no longer participating so another child may be offered the opportunity
