2018-2019 UWCC Grant Information

United Way of Charlotte County funds programs that provide health and human services to Charlotte County residents. Eligible programs must be able to demonstrate positive, measurable outcomes. Programs seeking United Way funding must work towards our mission of eliminating poverty in the focus areas of our bold goals: Financial Stability Education, and Wellness.

The United Way of Charlotte County will be accepting funding applications for its 2018-19 grant cycle until Monday, December 18, 2107.  Please see the pertinent documents for the 2018-2019 United Way Collaborative grant, the Board of County Commission Human Services grant, as well as the City of Punta Gorda Human Services grant.  Please see the guidelines to determine if your agency is eligible to apply - the process begins in the fall of every year.
All applicants are required to attend one mandatory training and information session on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 1:00-3:00 pm at the CDBIA conference room (17984 Toledo Blade Blvd, Port Charlotte, FL).

The letter of intent to apply is due (by email) on or before November 7, 2017.  All grant materials are due on or before Monday, December 18, 2017 by 4:00 pm.  No late submissions will be accepted.  All documents will be posted on the United Way of Charlotte County website.  For additional information, please contact Aimee Coley at aimee.coley@unitedwayccfl.org or call 941-627-3539.

For any agency that is interested in becoming an Affiliated Non-Funded partner, there is no need to fill out an application.  Contact us for more information on that process.
