Partner Agency Requirements

To receive funding from the United Way of Charlotte County, an organization must meet the following standards:

It must be a local non-profit, tax exempt corporation;
It must provide health/human services locally;
It must meet financial reporting standards;
It must be controlled by a voting Board of Directors;
It must be an established organization for at least two years;
It must not duplicate services provided by another United Way partner;
It must address a problem the United Way of Charlotte County considers a priority need.
